[The Register] Hack attack linked to annular eclipse... Jo això ho entenc més com una broma que no pas com una notícia, malgrat que el redactat sembli fins i tot seriós. Tot surt pel fet que space.com va ser atacada coincidint amb l'eclipsi de l'altra dia. Jo crec que senzillament els atacants van aprofitar la popularitat temporal del lloc per fer més soroll.

Senior Microsoft executives on Thursday plan to provide an update on the software maker's security strategy and product plans, including its upcoming enterprise anti-spyware offering, sources said.
Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer and Mike Nash, corporate vice president of the Microsoft's Security Business & Technology Unit, are scheduled to discuss the company's "security strategy and product road map" at an event in Munich, Germany, on Thursday morning, a source close to Microsoft said Tuesday.

Malgrat el que deia ahir, la conferència de premsa conjunta de Google i Sun només va ser una declaració d'intencions. L'únic resultat pràctic és que Sun distribuirà la Google Toolbar dins de la distribució de Java i, d'altra banda, que comencen a treballar conjuntament en el desenvolupament d'OpenOffice per posicionar-lo com alternativa.
